Ellie Kemper, Ashton Kutcher and Other Celebrities Running in the NYC Marathon
If your New York Marathon training schedule has a day for all the major celebrities running, it’s today.
The New York City Marathon kicks off at the start and finish at the end of Times Square, and for the first time ever, many of the celebrities in the running of the marathon also run the marathon!
Here are the other famous runners who are in NYC Marathon training for this year’s event (including Ashton Kutcher) –
Ellie Kemper
Ellie Kemper is an actress who starred in the CBS sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” and the ABC sitcom “Modern Family”. Kemper played the role of Claire’s mother in 2013’s “A Star is Born”. Kemper also starred in the movies “The Skeleton Twins” in 2004, “The Wedding Party Murders” in 2010 and the television series “The Good Wife”.
Kemper is a fan of the New York Marathon. She has been training, she is running the NYC Marathon today, and she has been running the race every day since its inception. Kemper explained,
“Everyone knows the NYC Marathon. If you look at the pictures of me running in my wedding gown as Chris Harrison – you can see it’s a very big day – and everybody else is running.”
Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kutcher is an actor who was born to Canadian parents and is of Jewish descent. Kutcher has starred in movies like “The Wedding Party Murders” in 2010, “The Skeleton Twins” in 2004, “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble” in 1997, and “Two Stupid Dogs” in 1996. Kutcher is also a model, a reality star, and a star on MTV’s “The Seven Summits”.
